Plastering and Decorative Finishes for Your Home

Every home needs a finish that’s smooth, strong and built to last. I offer a full range of plastering, rendering and specialist decorative services across Colchester and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re renovating a single room or taking on a bigger project, I’ll help you choose the right finish and complete the work with care and attention to detail.

Microcement and Venetian Plastering

If you want a smooth, seamless or textured finish that transforms a room, microcement and Venetian plaster are two of the best options. Both give you a modern, high-end look with clean lines, natural depth and long-lasting durability.

Plastering

Smooth, clean walls and ceilings make a huge difference to how a room looks and feels. I carry out all types of plastering, including skimming, bonding and dry-lining, to give you a solid, even surface ready for decorating. I work cleanly, protect your home and leave you with a flawless finish.

Rendering

Rendering protects your home and improves its appearance. I apply high-quality cement or lime render to create a strong barrier against the weather. You can choose from smooth, textured or coloured finishes to suit your style.

Traditional Lime Plaster

For older or heritage homes, lime plaster is the best choice. It’s breathable, flexible and prevents moisture problems. I use traditional materials and methods to restore your walls and ceilings while keeping the original character of the property.

Plasterboarding and Stud Partitions

If you’re creating a new room or straightening ceilings and walls, I supply and fit plasterboard for walls, ceilings and partitions. This gives you a clean, solid surface ready for plastering, with the option to add insulation for warmth and sound reduction.

Decorative Cornice & Coving

Cornice, coving and ceiling mouldings can add character to both modern and period homes. I install a wide range of decorative features and can match existing styles if you’re updating a room.
